The user can edit existing documents in Documents > Document Management

If the user has the list view shown, as the image below, and wants to edit a specific document, the user must point to the three-dot icon on the left of the document line.

A drop-down menu opens, select Edit document information (metadata)

If the view is expanded, Edit button is already visible.

You can change the file attached to the document. This is necessary, for example, if you want to update the file. In this case, first save the attachment to your workstation, make changes to the file, and then update the file to your system as follows:

When the document opens in edit mode, follow the steps below:

  1. Deletes the file by pointing to the Recycle Bin image that follows it.
  2. Then click the Add Files To Document button to retrieve the version of the document that you previously saved and updated from your workstation.
  3. After you retrieve the file, click the Save button.
